REVISED: SW 10 Street Connector Virtual & In-Person Public Hearings

DEERFIELD BEACH, FL – On behalf of the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Four, you are invited to attend a Public Hearing for the SW 10th Street Connector and I-95 from SW 10th Street to Hillsboro Boulevard Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Studies. The purpose of these hearings is to give interested persons an opportunity to comment and provide input on the refined transportation improvement alternatives.

The Public Hearing will be offered in two different formats, and all sessions will be identical: virtual and in-person. Both formats will have several different date/time options or sessions so that FDOT can accommodate all interested persons. Each session will consist of an open house, presentation, and formal comment period.

The Virtual (online) Public Hearing will be held over three days with three sessions (11:00 am, 2:30 pm, 6:00 pm) per day on October 12, 13, and 14, 2020.

Please Note that the City of Deerfield Beach will be hosting a viewing of the Public Hearing Session in the City Commission Chambers located at the City Hall Complex, 150 NE 2 Avenue, Deerfield Beach on October 14, 2020 at 6pm. This will be open to the public that would like to attend. Attendees will be required to adhere to a temperature checks, wear facial coverings and maintain social distancing. You will be required to sign in and will have an opportunity to make a comment for the Public Hearing Record.

The in-person Public Hearing on Thursday, October 15, 2020 will be at the FDOT District Four Office (located at 3400 West Commercial Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309). The in-person Public Hearing sessions (9:00am, Noon, 3:00pm, 6:00pm) follow all current COVID-19 guidelines, and social distancing will be followed.

Pre-registration is required for the Public Hearing (virtual and in-person). Visit to pre-register. To ensure questions and comments can be appropriately handled by staff, each Public Hearing session will have attendance limits. Registration will be first come, first served. Interested persons are requested to register for only one Public Hearing (virtual or in-person).

All comments received postmarked on or before November 4, 2020 (20 days after the last Public Hearing) will be included in the Project Administrative Record.
