DAILY VACCINE UPDATE INFO FOR TUESDAY, JAN. 12
IMPORTANT LAST DAY INFO
Tuesday, January 12 is the last day for vaccine distribution inside CVE.
Like all previous days, there are 500 doses available. Unlike previous days, on Tuesday, as soon as we open at 8:00am, 50 of them will be available to those who do not have a reservation/ticket. These shots will be first come, first served to the first 50 residents in the morning that do not have a ticket. You must be a CVE resident and you must be 65 years old or older to qualify for these 50 morning doses.
WHAT DO I BRING?
You MUST bring proof you live in CVE. This can be a CVE ID. It can also be a driver’s license with a CVE address. You should also bring the health form already filled out. CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD
You MUST also bring proof of age. This must be a government-issued photo ID such as a driver’s license or passport.
WORKING ON FUTURE DATES
Right now, we are working with the Health Department to secure additional dates. It is all based on the availability of future supplies. Right now, we do not have any additional confirmed dates.
REMINDER: YOU MUST BE A CVE RESIDENT TO RECEIVE A SHOT AT THE CVE LOCATION
DON’T WAIT FOR A WAIT LIST CALL
If you were not able to book a reservation, or if you registered on the Wait List before it was closed, we suggest you come by and try to get in as a walk-in. After the 50 morning doses are gone, you can come by in the afternoon.
Residents have been arriving beginning around 1:00pm. After 3:00pm we begin to take walk-ins. Shots are available as long as supplies last.
Please bring a chair. You will be in line for a few hours.
WHEN TO ARRIVE FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT
Taking into account recent patterns, we urge any resident with a daily reservation to arrive by 3:00pm.
You MUST arrive for your reservation by 4:00pm. Doors open at 8:00am. If you are not checked in by 4:00pm, you will lose your reservation and your vaccination will be given to unregistered residents on the walk-in line.
The wait list has been closed due to high numbers of sign-ups. If your reservation says “Wait List,” do not go to the Activity Center unless you receive a call. If you are on the wait list, please consider coming to the walk-in line.
